New User Programs
The Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) User Facility is a multi-laboratory, U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Science user facility, and a key contributor to national and international climate research efforts. ARM provides state-of-the-art infrastructure to conduct atmospheric and climate science in strategic locations around the world using fixed, mobile, and aerial facilities.
ARM Users
Every year, ARM reports information about its active science users to its funding sponsor, the DOE Office of Science, and to the White House Office of Management and Budget.
To be counted as an active ARM science user in a given year, a registered ARM account holder must do at least one of the following:
- Download data gathered during normal operations or field campaigns for scientific research. <<>>
- Visit a site to conduct field work <<>>
- Use ARM’s high-performance computing resources. <<>>
- Be a principal or co-investigator on an approved field campaign. <<>>

User Executive Committee
Elected by ARM users, the User Executive Committee (UEC) serves as the official voice of the ARM user community in its interactions with ARM management. The UEC participates in outreach activities to new communities and encourages feedback from all users to help ARM improve their experience. UEC members are happy to answer questions from new and existing users.
